The project is a biographical documentary about an honored USSR box coach, Annopriev Gennadii Fedorovich. Gennadii Fedorovich is a mentor, who build up eighteen masters of the sport, including world champions such as Orzubek Nazarov, Ermek Sakenov and others. His achieved successes in sports earned him respect and fame in Kyrgyzstan, particularly in Kant. Hundreds of boys in Kant and its suburbs started training looking up to him, and eventually grew up and became strong men. My topic carries a social and patriotic context. This movie focuses on great kyrgyzstani sportsmen and their coach. Also, Gennadii Fedorovich tells about the importance of being diligent and never giving up. It is essential to mention how the idea of creating this movie came up. I knew that I wanted to work on and eventually share with the world with something important. People who are shaping the society, affecting it positively are the inspiration for many people, but most of them go unnoticed. Their part in the society is crucial and they need a bigger voice, so the others would have someone to look up to, to be inspired by. I believe that the representation of such people is necessary to build up a better, kinder society. That is why I decided to shoot a biographical documentary about someone who made our society better. I met one man who told me about a box coach and his huge contribution to the development of the sport sector, videlicet box in Kyrgyzstan. Being a coach is an “etalon” (from russian), that every sportsman wants to surpass. Coaches are the ones who prove based on their own life that nothing in impossible in the sports world. A general target audience of my film are people of age range of 15 to 60 years old. As the main audience can be sports audience, people that are interested in sports and boxing. Moreover, all people from Kant, Tokmok, Kemin, Novopokrovka have heard about Gennadii Fedorovich and many know them well, thus it would be really interesting for them to see this documentary. Moreover, this film would still be interesting for all people of the republic, because it is about Kyrgyz athletes and it evokes a sense of patriotism and pride for our country. Aqil Ataee has survived from an attack which took place in 24th August, 2016 on American University of Afghanistan (AUAF) in which 12 dead and 44 injured. He states his depressing story and memories of his journey from AUAF to AUCA. My main characters are Sumaya Fazeli (Journalist) and Aqil Atae whose story is being delivered. Aqil Atae states the initial reason why he left his country, family and university, and came to AUCA located in Bishkek Kyrgyzstan. The story is being developed visually and verbally; visually by showing the photos of Aqil and scene after the attack and, Verbally, as Aqil Atae describes what he saw and has gone through the horrible attack. It also deliver the message of how Aqil Atae has been integrated to the Kyrgyz society by filming him at AUCA dormitory going to AUCA and sitting with his friends. In the final quarter of the story Atiq Rahman another eye witness of the attack is brought to add more detail to the story and delivers the message that he has financial problems at AUCA. Finally, the story is being ended and Sumaya Fazeli concludes that insecurity is the main reason for Afghan youth the flee from the country. First my project involved Six characters four of them are the AUCA students who were at American University of Afghanistan (AUAF) during the attack. And two other are also at AUCA but were not AUAF during the attack, one of them is the journalist girl in my project and another was a guy whose sister got killed at AUAF attack. The project is documentary type news report, therefore, the characteristics of both (documentary and news report) should have been included. Considering the fact that video had to be short therefore I couldn’t include all of them. Furthermore, since my subjects were all AUCA students I hardly got two of them agreed to play a role in my project. From this I understood how time management plays a huge role in the film production. I would have contacted my subjects in advance so I would have more time to work my project and therefore make it more attractive.
