CONCENTRATIONS

In coordination with the department of Software Engineering, Journalism and Mass Communications offers its major a Concentration in Data Journalism. Upon the completion of the Concentration courses the students will obtain a specialized certificate, issued in partnership with School of Data Kyrgyzstan.

The concentration requires that students first register with the program assistant and then take the following courses during their four years of study:

4 Elective Courses Of Choice From the list:

  • Data Journalism
  • Data Visualization
  • Data Storytelling
  • Storytelling with Statistics
  • Intro to Probability & Statistics
  • Intro to Computer Science
  • Data Analytics with Python

In coordination with the Department of Business Administration, Journalism and Mass Communications offers its majors a Concentration in Marketing and Public Relations. Upon the completion of the Concentration courses the students will obtain a specialized certificate.

The concentration requires that students first register with the program assistant and then take the following courses during their four years of study:
