CONCENTRATIONS

In coordination with the Department of Business Administration, Journalism and Mass Communications offers its majors a Concentration in Marketing and Public Relations. Upon the completion of the Concentration courses the students will obtain a specialized certificate.

The concentration requires that students first register with the program assistant and then take the following courses during their four years of study:

Required course:

  • Introduction to Marketing

Four Elective Courses Of Choice Outside of their Major:

  • Public Relations
  • Digital Public Relations
  • Marketing Research
  • Consumer Behavior
  • Personal Branding and Career Skills
  • Digital Communication Strategy

 

In coordination with the department of Software Engineering, Journalism and Mass Communications offers its major a Concentration in Data Journalism. Upon the completion of the Concentration courses the students will obtain a specialized certificate. 

The concentration requires that students first register with the program assistant and then take the following courses during their four years of study:

Required courses:

  • Data Journalism 1
  • Data Journalism 2

Elective Courses Outside of their Major:

  • Data Storytelling
  • Data Visualization
  • Intro to Computer Science (for Admits 2017 and after)
